Ford CT Website Updates
I have been hard at work on the Hammonasset Ford Website. This week alone, I have created several pages on that site as well as several 3rd party pages on web 2.0 sites. We want to build our link profile in order to be more competitive with other dealers in the state.
Here are some of the pages that I created on our webstie.
Best Used Cars In CT
Used Honda In CT
Ford F150 CT
Used Acura In CT
Used BMW CT
Used Cadillac In CT
Used Chevy in CT
Used Dodge In CT
Used Fords
Used Isuzu in CT
Used Jaguar in CT
Used Jeeps In CT
Used Lexus In CT
Used Nissan In CT
Used Mercedes In CT
Wow! That is a lot of links to post on one page, but I wanted to get them all in there. I am working hard building my Car dealer in CT links in as many places as I can. We are the masters at selling used cars in CT and we are one of the finest car dealers in CT and throughout the USA.
As I continue to build links to our Ford CT site and its surrounding websites, I will post them here and in other places. We work hard to get them, so when we do, we will promote them as vigorously as possible in order to get the most benefit from them.
Remember, our goal is to sell as many used cars in CT as we can. We want to be the number one Ford Dealer in CT and we will reach that goal this year if I have anything to say about it.

A Few Automotive SEO Tips

Internet sales managers at car showrooms are always on the look out for automotive SEO tips. So without further a due, here are a few things that might help your search engine rankings for your auto dealership.
1) Don't Skimp On Titles.
When you are naming your cars for inventory, make them as descriptive as possible in the alloted space. For instance, instead of "2005 Toyota Camry", try something like "2005 Toyota Camry LE Dallas, Leather Moon Roof - Low Miles" When you do it this way, it makes for a better meal for the search engines and you will cast wider net over potential customers.
2) Don't skimp on Descriptions.
Here too, you want to be as descriptive and as "granular" as possible. Writing great, thorough descriptions is essential to successful automotive SEO. Tell a story with your description. Be creative, be very specific about features, advantages and benefits of all the bells and whistles.
3) Don't Keyword Stuff.
Many amateurs make the mistake of trying to stuff as many "keywords" into their web pages. The wrongly believe that this will help their automotive SEO efforts. But this may end up having just the opposite effect as search engines may view this tactic as an attempt at spamming. The best thing you can do is write naturally. Of course, you do want to use your main keyword as well as some related keywords, just don't try to stuff a ton of them in your content.
There you go. 3 Simple tips to help your automotive SEO efforts. Check back often for other related articles.

For all you folks that have your heart set on a new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury, there is good news. Hammonasset Ford in Madison is now selling new cars below dealer invoice price. It's true. You can choose your new car and buy it for less than what the factory sells it to the dealership for. And the best part is that you do not have to negotiate, bargain or haggle in any way. Hammonasset Ford CT Dealer is a One Price Store. What that means is that all selling prices are clearly marked on every car. Everyone pays the same low price, there is no negotiation involved. The New Ford Fiesta Arrives In CT

It has been a long time coming, but finally it's here. The all new 2010 Ford Fiesta has arrived in the showroom. And it is really turning heads. The Fiesta has been totally redesigned. Ford has done a tremendous job on the car. In fact, the new Fiesta dominates the 10 best lists for this coming model year. Why? Its design is sporty, it rides like a dream. The car is very fuel efficient and it is a great value for the money (around 18K).
Be sure to check one out at Ford CT when you get a chance. You will love it.
Five Used Car Models To Avoid

The used car market is a difficult one to navigate. There are so many choices no matter what price range you are looking in. When you decide on your budget, you also must decide which trade offs you are willing to make. Do you want to spend on a more expensive older car, or a newer economy car? Do you want bells and whistles or do you want a powerful engine? And the list goes on.
But this article is not about trade offs, it is about certain cars that you should avoid buying. The list was comprised from various sources including, USA Today, Consumer Reports and CBS Money Watch. So, in no particular order, here are the five used cars you should avoid and why.
1)Volkswagen New Beetle
This car seems to be on everyone's list. The VW Beetle seems to be plagued with problems ranging from electrical to brakes to fuel problems. The verdict is in on this one and the verdict says to stay away. I know they are cute, but so is a ptibull.
2)Chrysler Sebring.
Here too is another nice looking car. But like the VW Beetle, this car has some serious known issues. Many report transmission problems, others have complained about issues with brakes and engine cooling issues. It's nice looking, you can probably get one for a low price, but you may end up regretting it.
Check Out Ford CT for a great deal on your next new or pre-owned car in CT.
3)Jeep Grand Cherokee
This SUV is popular, but comes with some issues. I speak from experience as I am a former owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Be on the lookout for brakes that constantly need to be changed, poor fuel economy and reliability issues.
4)Ford Explorer
The explorer was and still is an extremely popular SUV with millions of units sold and still on the road. But beware, Ford Explorer: problems noted included: coolant and oil leaks, clanking timing belts, and ticking valves in the 4.6-liter engines.
5)GMC Canyon
The car is known to be loud, under powered and offer an uncomfortable ride. In addition, Consumer Reports says the car is known to have problems with its electrical wiring system, the OnStar system and exhaust valve springs which can cause the engine to misfire.
There is your list of 5 used cars to avoid (in my opinion). Of course with a little research, you can probably find dozens more to avoid. Do your homework and be sure that you are not plunking down your hard earned dollars on something you will later regret.
